New poster

Above is the newer version of the poster with Sarah's wall picture. We aren't actually sure whether we prefer this newer one or the first, but we will make a decision today.
We did not find the new picture to be striking enough and not prominent enough on the page.

Poster with Sarah's photo

The above is our final poster with what was intended to be our final image of Sarah. However we decided that her point of focus was incorrect and that her address should be direct. The division between the black background and the grainy, pale picture was also found to be too visually offensive.

Below is the work in progress on another version of the poster using a more subtle image.

Necessary change in actress

Hannah, the actress playing the protaganist, has been unable to help us finish filming and as a result we have has to re-cast. Sarah is now playing the Gangster's daughter and we will re-film the necessary shots as soon as possible.

Below is a shot of Sarah, edited in Adobe Photoshop for use in our poster or magazine cover. I selectively enhanced the blue of the sky and the red of the brick wall to increase the contrast between the two elements, and also added more shading to the top of the wall to create a 'disused' look.

Posters with final image

The above image is of our poster featuring Hannah alone against a brick wall. The next is the same, only with a repeated image that Tristam suggested "might portray the protaganists power". We are unsure which we, as a collective, prefer at the moment. But I personally think that while neither are perfect, the first is better as it looks more professional and the mirror images are unnecessary and would not have the intended effect.

Final Poster Layout

This is the 'final' poster layout by Tristam, before being exported from InDesign, the application he has been using. It currently lacks a picture of the protaganist and there is a stock photo of a girl in place.

This is the logo for 'Signature', the sound and effects 'company' that would contribute to the film. We are hoping to use an animated version in our trailer where the logo is 'written', but this is not set in stone.
